Rafael Nadal wins 9th French Open title, beats Novak Djokovic in finals

NEI India Film Editing Via Zeenews Paris: Rafael Nadal defeated Novak Djokovic 3-6, 7-5, 6-2, 6-4 in the final and won French Open title for the ninth time on Sunday.
It is the fifth time in a row that the champion Spanish tennis player won the prestigious title.

The Spaniard stretched his winning streak at the clay-court major to 35 straight.
The match began on an interesting note with Djokovic wining the opening set and gained control over the game.
However, as the match progressed the Nada, as he is famously known as, found his lost rhythm and took on the second-seeded Serb with complete control.
Djokovic appeared to struggle physically under the cruel sun and audience also saw him vomiting a bit in middle. Djokovic was playing in his second French Open final.
His poor service game at 5-6 in the second set allowed Nadal to break and level the match.
With the victory, Nadal, who will retain the No. 1 ATP ranking, snapped a four-match losing streak to Djokovic.
