FIFA WC 2014: Is this the best image from World Cup so far?

NEI India Film Editing Via Daily.Bhaskar New Delhi: A World Cup being hosted in game’s spiritual home promises no dearth of captivating photographs, and the twentieth edition of the Cup has lived up to that expectation in its first week. Be it van Persie’s supermanesque effort against Spain, Mexican goalkeeper Ochoa’s brilliant saves or Brazilian star Neymar’ emotional side at the start of Wednesday’s game, World Cup 2014 has already been a witness to some incredible images. But if you thought that was it, you are happily mistaken.
During the moments before his team's World Cup match against Chile, Australian midfielder Mark Bresciano made sure the young boy on crutches standing next to him was tightly laced up and ready to go.
The event dates back to June 13, ahead of the game that Australia ended up losing 3-1. Bresciano, 34, noticed that the shoelaces were undone for one of the boys who serve as mascots for the team. The Aussie, in a touching gesture, squatted down and tied the cleats for the boy, who was on crutches.
The gesture, captured by photographer George Salpigtidis, went viral as an enduring image of the World Cup.
“It is always nice to have kids share that walk out because it is so special for them,” Bresciano told Brisbane's Courier-Mail. "The boy was a little slow walking out and I noticed his shoelace undone so I did what any parent would do, any player for that matter, I just helped him out and tied it back up. I had no idea the photo had been sent around the world but I’m just glad the boy had a good time.”
With World Cup still in its early stages, more memorable pictures are bound to come out, but the sheer weight of Mark Bresciano’s understated gesture is bound to endure the test of time
