Hummels' header powers Germany into World Cup semifinal, France knocked out!

NEI India Film Editing Via Daily.Bhaskar It was a clash of two favourites sides in the tournament, and no matter what, with the final whistle one deserving side would have progressed and the lesser fortunate one would have packed their bags.
And so it happened, Germany beat France 1-0 in the quarterfinal of the World Cup to be in the semifinal.

The difference between the two sides was the header by Mat Hummels off a superb free kick taken by Toni Kroos in the 13th minute of the game.
And after that there was no coming back for France, they kept trying and played attacking brand football, but no avail. Even after 49% possession of the ball, 9 on target shots off 13 and 9 corners the French failed to find the net in the 90 minutes of play.
